Itinerary

Start your most awaited Char Dham yatra from Haridwar. Pick from Haridwar Hotel / Railway Station / Bus Stand and proceed to Barkot on your first day of holy Chardham tour. The Barkot drive pass through beautiful and scenic Mussoorie. Kempty fall visit on the way Barkot. Enjoy various waterfall and drive along Yamuna River. After reaching Barkot hotel, check into pre-booked hotel. In night have early dinner and take proper rest and prepare for Yamunotri Darshan next day.

Barkot Weather: The summer (April, May and June) has the day temperature range from 20 to 30 degree Celsius and night temperature around 15-20 degree Celsius. In September, October and November weather is very pleasant (Temp – 10 to 25 degree)

Get ready very early in morning for Yamunotri temple Darshan. Proceed to Jankichatti by road and from Jankichatti start your trek (6 Km – one way) for Yamunotri temple. Pilgrim can take services of Pony (horses) and Palki (Doli). After reaching Yamunotri, take bath in Surya kund / Jamnabai kund (Natural hot water kund). Then take blessing of Yamunotri mata. Return back to Jankichatti and meet driver. Pick and return to hotel in Barkot for night stay.

  • Yamunotri Weather: Weather in summer (April May June) is very pleasant. The temperature ranges around 15 to 20 degrees Celsius. In In September, October and November weather is very pleasant (Temp – 10 to 18 degree).

    Today start your day leisurely. Leave hotel after breakfast around 10 AM and drive for Uttarkashi. Its take only 5 hour to reach hotel in Uttarkashi. Drive through radi top and Darashu band. Today visit Kashi Vishwanath temple, Shakti temple, and Uttarkashi market. In evening enjoy beautiful location and relax. Take dinner and prepare for Gangotri Darshan next day.

    Uttarkashi Weather: Uttarkashi Weather is hot in day time in summer (April, May and June). But night is very pleasant and temp relatively low.

    Start your journey to Gangotri temple at very early in morning from Uttarkashi. Visit scenic Harsil valley and Gangnanione natural hot water kund on the way to Gangotri. On arrival at Gangotri take bath in Ganga River and get blessing of Gangotri Mata at temple. Later back to Uttarkashi hotel for night stay.

    Gangotri Weather: During the summer season, the maximum temperature of Gangotri can reach 16-20 degrees Celsius during the day time. And in night falls down to 10 degrees Celsius, and the weather gets colder.

    After breakfast proceed to Guptkashi / Sitapur. En-route you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara and Ardhnarishwar temple. It is a long drive but very scenic, so start early in morning from Uttarkashi hotel. On arrival night stay in pre-booked hotel at Guptkashi / Sitapur. Prepare for next day Kedarnath visit.

    Guptkashi Weather: The temperature ranges between 18 to 25 degree Celsius makes pleasant weather.

    By Trek or Pony or Palki to Kedarnath:–Start early in the morning around 4 AM and proceed to Sonprayag. From Sonprayag proceed to Gaurikund by Government taxi (Charge- 10 Rupee). On arrival at Gaurikund take bath in Gaurikund and start to walk towards Kedarnath temple for 17 KM. You can hire Pony or Palki from Gaurikund. Reach Kedarnath temple and do Darshan to get the blessing of Kedarnath. You can stay at Kedarnath for the night and feel the spirituality of this divine place.

    Or

    By Helicopter to Kedarnath:– According to reporting time provided by the Helicopter Company, leave the hotel and drive to Helipad at Guptkashi or Phata or Sersi, for Shri Kedarnath Temple. Reach at the helipad at Kedarnath Temple after 10 to 15 minutes of flying. Have Darshan, Perform Pooja and seek the blessing of Lord Shiva at Kedarnath Temple. Spend some time in the surroundings of the divine Temple and mesmerizing view of Kedarnath valley. One can stay overnight at Kedarnath or can return to Sitapur/Guptakshi for the night stay.

    Kedarnath Weather: Generally, weather in Kedarnath valley remains cold throughout the year because of the geography and high altitude. So the temperature in Kedarnath, especially in night hover around 6 to 12 degree. The day is relatively pleasant and warm compare to Night.

    Option 1: Early Morning reach to helipad and catch the helicopter. Fly back to Sitapur and proceed to Govindghat (170 kms / 7 hrs). En-route visit Ukhimath (Winter adobe of Kedarnath Ji). On arrival check-in to the hotel for Overnight stay at Govindghat.

    Option 2: If returned from Kedarnath on Same day and staying at Sitapur, Morning after breakfast check-out from the hotel and proceed to Govindghat (170 kms / 7 hrs). En-route visit Ukhimath (Winter adobe of Kedarnath Ji). By reaching Check-in at the hotel for Overnight stay at Govindghat.

    Option 3: By Trek: Early morning start the trek again and reach Gaurikund. Further drive to Sitapur for the Overnight Stay.

    Option 1: Morning after breakfast, Check-out from the hotel for Badrinath Darshan (30 kms / 2-3 hrs). Pilgrims can have a bath in the Tapt Kund and the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in evening. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There is other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. Just within the three kms of Badrinathjee. Dinner & Overnight stay at Badrinath.

    Option 2: (If Trekked) Morning check-out the hotel from Sitapur and proceed to Badrinath (180 km / 8-9hrs). En-route visit Ukhimath (Winter adobe of Kedarnath Ji). On arrival, pilgrims can have a bath in the Taptkundhave and the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in the evening. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There is another interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. Just within the three km of Badrinathjee. Dinner & Overnight stay at Badrinath.

    Badrinath: Near the Alakhnanda river, this highly auspicious temple belongs to Lord Vishnu. it is one of the Char Dham, and therefore, the place of utmost importance in Hinduism. This temple is at a height of 10,279 feet. The lofty snow-clad Himalaya that surrounds this Dham, makes it look amazingly beautiful. It was Adi Sankaracharya who established it. The Badrinath temple has a Tapt Kund, which is highly auspicious and has some unbelievable medicinal properties. The Alakhnanda river originates from here. It is placed between the mountain ranges of Nar and Narayana.

    Tapt Kund: Situated on the bank of the river Alakhnanda, and near the Badrinarayan temple, the Tapt Kund is actually the Sulphur Kund. As per belief, it’s actually the Agni Dev himself who got this form because of getting the boon from Lord Vishnu.

    Mana Village: Mana Village the perfect place for trekking, is the last village of India. This beautiful village is very nearer to the Badrinath, and therefore, a must-visit place during your visit to the Badrinath. This village has some highly famous caves such as the Vyas caves and many more. The Vyas cave belongs to the Mahabharata Period. Also, all other caves here, have some great religious and historical importance.

    Vasundhara: The Vasundhara waterfall is 5 Km away from the Mana Village, and very nearer to the Badrinath Dham. As per belief, if you have ever committed any evil work, this waterfall will divert away from you.

    Bhim Pul: This stone bridge on the river Saraswati does actually belongs to the Mahabharta Period. As per belief, it was Bheem (One of the Pandavas) who built this bridge so as to cross the river Saraswati. The Stone natural bridge and the Saraswati river gushing through it make this place look stunning and beautiful.

    Vyas Gufa: The famous Gufa whereas per belief, Maharshi Vyas spoke the Mahabharta, and lord Ganesha wrote that. It is near Mana village.

    Badrinath Weather: During the summer, the temperature ranges between 8 to 18 degrees Celsius, and therefore sufficiently perfect to have the tour. But, during the winter season with heavy snowfalls, and the temperature down to 0 to 5 degrees Celsius, makes the tour possibility terrible. Therefore, the place remains closed for tourists during the season.

    Morning after darshan & breakfast, check-out from the hotel & drive to Rudraprayag/Srinagar via Joshimath. En-route visit Narsing Temple (winter abode of Shree Badrinath Ji) at Joshimath. Later proceed for Rudraprayag/Srinagar. En route visit Nand Prayag and Karna Prayag. On arrival, check-in at the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

    Joshimath: Joshimath or the Jyotirmath is the hill town at the 6150 m in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Adi Guru Sankaracharya built it in the 8th century. It is winter home of Lord Badri where the Idol of lord Badri gets shifted from Badrinath.

    Rudraprayag: At the confluence of river Alaknanda and river Mandakini, the Rudraprayag is highly famous among Hindus. This place looks amazingly beautiful and is the gateway to the Badrinath and Kedarnath.

    Rudraprayag Weather: Very hot summer season with the temperature ranging between 35 to 40 degree Celsius, and therefore not preferred time to have the visit. However, during the winter the weather remains pleasant during the day times, and therefore, best for having the tour. During night times in winter season, the temperature may lie between 5 to 20 degree Celsius, and therefore, you may feel the severe cold.

    After healthy breakfast, check-out from the hotel for Haridwar. En-route visit Dhari Devi Temple, Dev Prayag & Rishikesh. And proceed to end the divine trip to Haridwar. On arrival final drop at the guest place for the onwards journey
